7.8  Actions in Round  and  Attacks of Opportunity  Chart



     The AD&D 3.0 definitions of Free Actions, Move-Equivalent Actions, Partial Actions, Standard Actions, and Full-Round Actions are being replaced with this new methodology.  Each possible action will be given a value, from 0.0, by tenths, up to 1.0.  During any round, a character may perform any combination of (otherwise legal) actions, in any order, so long as their combined values do not exceed 1.0.
     Note that anything which require multiple rounds (or noticably longer) to perform (e.g., spells such as Regenerate at 3 rounds, Identify at 8 hours) are not dealt with here: by their very nature they are not concerned with partial rounds.
     The table also shows which actions invite an Attack of Opportunity, if there are any foes placed to take advantage of that.  I have kept the AoO definitions just as they are in the AD&D 3.0 manuals, even when their answer is obviously stupid.  [This means I'll probably be very open to any suggestions that are brought to me about changing AoO definitions.]
